Merge Network Tournament Summary

Postby corwiniii » Sat Jun 26, 2010 3:49 pm

I'm playing on Carbon Poker (Merge Network). I am VERY happy the beta at least now supports Merge. Cash games are working great. I recently started playing SNGs for the first time. When I go to the Tournament tab I get a message saying I have played in tournaments without summary files. I need to import them (automatically or manually). But, where are they and/or how do I get them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not many sites write summary information, and I don't think that Merge do - see the FAQ: Tournaments.

yep- Merge doesnt supply any result info. You need to write it down and enter it manually. Annoying, but the site so soft it make sup for it ;)

zubs1aa - you write it down as the tourney is running/when it finishes, or can you get the data from their software or settings somewhere? There's probably no way I'll keep track if I have to write it down manually. Just way too much going on. And I agree it's super soft. I'm just playing the $3 double-up SNGs and don't even have to play a hand to win.

NM: I found the wins in the ledger in the online accounts details. That's enough to figure out at least finish and money wins.

couple ways - I believe sharkscope may trach these- you can look there.

Also if you hit the more details tab in teh tourney lobby, it pops up a screen with a standard results page - all players and all prizes.

Just played a Merge Double-up. No result was recorded. Can we get logic that figures out you finished top 3? Or is that too difficult?

If it's one table I'd imagine we could - are those being flagged DON though?

not flagged on AD at import. running manual AD did flag though and filled in te amount won and teh finish position.

Weird it got it on manual, not auto at import.

Could you attach that tournament history to a ticket then so that we can try to analyze why it worked fine one way and not the other?
