Hud Profile Issue

SPECS: Windows 7, PT3 3.0.8.1, Trial Version

I just downloaded a version of PT3. I am unable to change the HUD profile from the default to a custom profile. I created a new HUD Profile. When I choose the new HUD Profile from the drop down box, click 'apply' button, and then click 'ok' button... the HUD does not change. When I go back into the HUD configuration, the 'Cash - Default' profile is displayed in the drop down window for profiles.

Any thoughts?

3.08 is starting to get a little long in the tooth. Recommend you download the latest beta 3.09.3 and see if that solves your prob.

I tried this and received an "Installation Failure" ... "there were errors which caused the installation to fail". I'm still in the trial time period, so I'm not sure if this caused the failure (although that wouldn't seem to make sense.

To my understanding there is very little difference bewteen the trial and paid versions (I don't think AA ever holds up in the trial version... joking). Just make sure that PT3 is NOT running when you do an update. Other than that, Kraada or WhiteRider should be online soon.

You need to select the Profile at the table, not in the HUD configuration window.
Click the PT-icon > Change Profile.
When you've done that, if you want to always use that profile at your tables choose "set this profile as default for table type" option from the same menu.

If you still want to update please reboot your computer and try running the installer again, although you shouldn't need to for this issue.
