manual import duplicate hands

Postby Learning Curved » Wed Feb 23, 2011 5:49 pm

I accidentally imported 160k hands into a database and they were all duplicates. When finished, housekeeping vac analyzed and rebuild cache. The rebuild is still running and seems to be taking much longer than a normal rebuild. My question is, is it confirmed that manually importing large amounts of duplicate hands causes housekeeping to run slower?

When a hand is marked as a duplicate during the import process, it isn't actually imported into the database - it's being rejected as a duplicate. So it shouldn't change any housekeeping times. However, full cache rebuilds can take quite a while.
