V3.10 All In EV

Hi,

I updated PT3 to version 3.10 yesterday and I have noticed that the All In EV line is completely different from what it was.

Since the update my all in Ev line is more or less straight down at -3PTBB/100.
The All In EV line has the same shape than the winning one so I believe it is not the actual All In EV but that there is some kind of offset in it or the currencies that are not converted right (or even worse than before as I know that in the previous versions the currencies were not converted right in the all in EV)

It is a known issue?

Btw every time I update to a new version I Cluster,rebuild cache and re index all my databases.

The currency conversion is still not accounted for in the EV graph. We did make a few changes to how things were calculated in multi-way situations where one set of hole cards was not known, and we did try and correct several other EV issues that we found in our recent betas. The likely cause for the general divergence, though, is the lack of proper currency conversion for that line.

In the previous version the all in EV was much closer to reality even without proper currenciy conversions (because it evens out over a long sample). Where here it looks like there is more than just a currencies conversion issue.

Can you narrow it down to any range of hands that you know looked different previously?

I know that my overall graph looked different but I don't know about specific ranges.

It's just difficult for us to investigate further without any examples to work from, and I'd definitely like to have someone look into this for you.

I completely understand this (that's why I put a picture of the graph).
Unfortunately I don't have any way of comparing the 2 apart from downgrading and upgrading again which I don't really want to do.

Had the same problem. Your "amount won" is now counted in Global (in dollars) and you have played in EUR before as i see. Don't know why but in the latest version of PT3 the EV line is shown in the currency you've played before (in EUR in your case) but the amount won became Global. To fix it just open Configure Currency, choose all the sessions you've played before and set the USD rate 1.0000.

The global is in euros (despite having the dollars on the y axis - this is a small bug I think)
I have set my winnings to be shown in global because I play on €,£ and € tables and I want the graph to show the amount I won in one currency (€ here)

Don't know why but in the latest version of PT3 the EV line is shown in the currency you've played before (in EUR in your case)

I think it has always been like this (that's why the All in Ev in PT3 in somehow meaningless.
This is a bug that the developpers are aware of since a long time I think.

To fix it just open Configure Currency, choose all the sessions you've played before and set the USD rate 1.0000.

If I do this my winning line will be wrong as well as the EV line? or maybe I misunderstood what you want to do by setting up the rate at 1.0000

Maybe I bungled a little bit, and sorry for my english, it's not my native, plz let me try to explain. I've played a lot of hand in EUR and USD in different rooms but never used Global or Native, just used Amount Won, all the winnings were shown in USD and i was quite happy (no matter that part of the graph was in EUR and the other part in USD). Once I've installed one of the latest versions of PT3, my graph looked like yours but in the original graph Amount won and EV were really close to each other. I had no idea how to fix it, selected all the sessions and set USD to EUR equal to 1.0000. Now it looks as well as before but I don't use the advantages of the new PT3 multi currency feature... :oops: Maybe they fix the bug and in future it could be more convenient.

btw, there is also a bug with Amount won (global) in the "Winnings" folder. If you remove Amount won and add Amount won global, you can't see the average sum of money you win per day.
