can't get pt3 to work

Hello. I did a search and I think someone else was having this problem but there doesn't appear to be a resolution.

I installed poker tracker. According to the installation directions, pt3 should ask me if I want to download PostgreSQL. It didn't. I went ahead and installed SQL manually but I couldn't get the databases to jive together.

I uninstalled pt3 and SQL and reinstalled pt3. I still didn't get a prompt asking if I would like to download SQL. Not sure what to do at all.

Follow our uninstall and reinstall guide for PostgreSQL on our documentation page - that will make sure everything is set up properly. Then once the installation is complete, install PT3 (if it's already installed you can leave it, it doesn't really matter whether PT3 is installed or not when working on PostgreSQL), and at the prompt put in the password you selected during the installation procedure and click Connect, then everything should connect properly. Depending on your firewall and anti-virus though, you may need to configure it to allow PostgreSQL to function properly - you can find an explanation on our documentation page for common firewall systems as well.

I turned off my AV and firewall for the installation.

I have Postgre sort of installed. It is asking for a password:

I don't know what to put in. I attempted the passwords on this site, but that doesn't work.

Eh. I used to be a pt2 user and I really liked it, but your site doesn't work properly, installation of this program is too much hassle.

Sorry, I'm not going to bother using your software.

That document opens fine for me (from your link) - what browser are you using? Could you try another browser, maybe Firefox?

Our default password is "dbpass".
