Hello,
So my rebuilding cache has been running for 43 hours straight. This on a pc machine that is brand new. I did back up the datafile from a mac and imported it in. Could that be what is causing the slowness. I probably have over 6million hands total in the DB. Thanks for any help you can provide.

It shouldn't matter that the database came from the Mac, and that does sound too long for a cache rebuild of that size.
I don't suppose that you have logging enabled? If you do you can look in the PokerTracker.log file to see the progress of the cache update.
Otherwise, are any of the postgres.exe processes using any CPU in Task Manager > Processes?

Well, I just decided to start my db over again. I ended up uninstalling PT3 and reinstalling with version 9.0 64 bit of SQL. Everything seems to be going rather smoothly. Thanks for the help though.
