First a general question (as it might be related to the actual issue). I am running PT3 on a Netbook with Win 7 Starter. Every time I want to run PT3, Win 7 will darken the desktop and give a popup that asks for admin rights for PT3 to run. PT3 is the only application I have on my Netbook that behaves like that. Why is Win 7 doing this or why does PT3 need those privileges ?
Now for the actual problem. I was playing around a bit with Synergy (www.synergy-foss.org) yesterday to use my desktop's keyboard+mouse also with my Netbook. This works quite well. I could play poker on my Netbook while having other stuff going on on my desktop (or vice versa). Until... I started up PT3 on my Netbook. As soon as I did that, Synergy stopped working well on my Netbook and the pointer would no longer move. When I activated a different program (via the touchpad of the Netbook) everything was fine again but as soon as I clicked on PT3 to have it have the focus again, the problem was back. The weird thing is that this only happens with PT3.
Does PT3 do something weird with keyboard/mouse captures (I'd be highly surprised) or might this be related also to those permission things ?
