Making changes to my HUD

I've skimmed through both the basic and advanced HUD guide, aswell and the HUD profiles and groups tutorials.
I haven't been able to resolve this question.
Which btw, in my eyes, is pretty simple.

How do I get rid of the "invisible characters/space" in my HUD?
If you look at the picture below, between the stats I added a "/" as a suffix for all except the last stat in each row, yet it adds an invisible space too. How do I get rid of that?

Also, if you look at the bottom left player you may notice his name is very long. Yet after his name are a lot of "invisible characters" again only followed by another stat (# of hands).

All these statistics have no prefixes and no suffixes, except for the obvious "/" suffixes.

If you reduce "padding" on the Groups tab that should reduce the space around the stats. Also make sure your prefix is actually nothing, not a blank space - if it were just a space, that space would apply.
