Error Updating Database

Hey,

i just updated PT3 3 days ago. The last time i used PT was something like 2-3 years ago. But when I start PT3 now it asks me to update the database and i get the message:

"Error updating database: PokerTracker 3 Database
Error:
Unable to execute query: BEGIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block )"

Then i press ok and it says :
"The update process is complete. You should vacuum and analyse any databases that are actively used as soon as possible."
I press ok and it asks me to update database again and i get same message as above.

You will probably find it easiest to create a new database and re-import the hands from the original hand history files, which will be in the PokerTracker 3\Processed folder by default.

The problem is that the Database button is not activated as long the "error window" or the "upgrade database" window are open. If i press "yes" for "upgrade your database now?" i get the error window again. If i press "no" i get the "exit" window.
Nevertheless i managed to open the Data Managment window by pressing continuously the enter button (i dont know whether is a good i idea to do so).
If i press the New button there, i get the message that i dont have access to this funktionality in trial modus.

I have to say, that i dont need (and dont want to use anymore) my old data. Therefore it doesnt matter if i loose my old data. And i have PostgreSQL 8.3.

Ah, OK - in that case we will can delete the database outside PT3, and next time you start PT3 it should create a new database for you.

Close PT3 down.
Run PGAdmin III (find it under PostgreSQL in All Programs from the Start menu, or type "pgadmin" in Vista or Win 7).
Double click to expand the PostgreSQL Database Server (the default password is dbpass if it asks for one).
Click the plus next to Databases to expand it.
Your database is called "PT3 DB". Do NOT touch the "postgres" database.
Right click "PT3 DB" and choose Delete/Drop, and OK it.

Run PT3 again and it should create a new database for you.
