EP/MP/LP hud popup meaning?

Postby sdlsdlsd » Fri Sep 16, 2011 12:58 am

I have a 6max limit opponent with some 800 hands played when filtered at 5-6 handed. The overall stats hud popup shows, for VP$IP: 150 samples for EP, 100 for MP, and 300 for LP. I've long ago figured out that LP is CO+BTN, since it's generally double the sample size of EP and MP. So i assumed MP meant hijack, and EP meant UTG.

How do i have 150 hands for him UTG, and 100 hands in the hijack? Do EP/MP/LP not work the way i think they do? He'd have to have sat out of the hijack 1/3 of the time for these numbers to fit with what i expect.

If the table is 5 handed, do hijack stats get counted as EP? This seems like the wrong way to go about doing it, but the numbers would make sense that way at least.

Which positions are considered EP, MP and LP are shown in a diagram in this tutorial.

I see, thanks. I don't like the "variable" system but at least i know what's going on now. I'm guessing it's hardcoded and unchangeable?

They are set within the database - you can alter them as explained in this thread, but once you do so you'll need to do a Cache Rebuild (via the Housekeeping menu) in order to get your old data reconfigured to the new settings.
