annoyed by postgreSQL

Hi guys,
apreciate your help with this one:

Since today I cannot start PT because it cannot connect with the postgreSQL.
It asks for port, pasword, server, database user.
it is set to the default values and won't connect anymore with that...

What should I do?

Yes I think so, I can find it under programs, version 8.3

Click Start type Services and click on it when it appears. Scroll down - do you see PostgreSQL in the list? If you start the server, does it start?

It's in the list of programs,
I can choose for start service.
Start server I cannot find.

Should that be there?

If you can't start PostgreSQL it's normally a permissions issue - please read our Firewall Guide guide and make sure you are allowing PT3 and PostgreSQL full permission.

there MUST be an easier way...

how about just removing PT and installing it again?

Please give me an easy solution for this.
