Not saving processed hands

Postby tony_1010 » Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:03 am

Hi just set up pokertracker for my friend, and it is saving the hands from pokerstars, importing them, however pokertracker is saving the hands when they have been processed so shows no stats/results.

Any help/advice?

thanks tony

Did you click Refresh after importing some hands?
Have you selected your [friend's] screenname in the Player List on the left?
Check that you don't have a filter enabled - click Clear.

nope sorry didnt explain very well. When i click the auto import it shows in the text box that its importing the hands, however when checking the processed hands folder it is empty, so the database is therefore empty. I think it might have something to do with his windows blocking something? maybe the postgre?

The database is completely separate from the Processed folder - files are moved to the processed folder once they have been imported to PT3, but once there they aren't used any more.
Files are not moved if the 'Move Processed Files To' option is disabled - check the Auto Import Preferences.

If PostgreSQL was blocked you would get a warning.
If the import status window shows that hands are importing then they should be in the database. Do you see players in the player list on the left?
