2Pokertracker3s on the same pc working?

Postby soeloemo » Thu Mar 15, 2012 8:37 pm

Hi all!

I have a bit of a strange problem:
me and my brother both play on stars and both use pokertracker3 (we bought it 2times of course)
my brother now left the country for 5 weeks, and since i dont have a pc right now, i thought i would play in his room on his pc the time hes abroad; he created a "guest" account on windows, where i can do what i want. i reinstalled and activated my pokertracker3 on the "guest" account. my brother has his own pokertracker3 on the administrator (main) account.
i started playing this night on the guest account and the pokertracker 3 didnt track; it realizes that pokerstars is running, but cant find the hands. now im wondering if i set up something wrong or if it isnt possible to run two different pt3s on 2 accounts on 1 pc?
or, if yes, is there something special to be set?

thx in advance! simon

ps: sorry for my bad english, must sound a bit complicated

Please follow the PokerStars Configuration Guide to make sure that you have everything set up correctly, and be aware that you need to be using v3.12 (or 3.12.1 was just released) for full support of the latest PokerStars software.
Also bear in mind that PT3 needs to have administrator privileges to run correctly (if you're on Vista or Windows 7), and to use the Memory Grabber or hotkeys PokerStars needs to be Run As Administrator too, so if you're using the guess account you will need to know an admin password for another account. If you're using an already-installed PokerStars then it is possible that the hand histories are being written somewhere other than where you'd expect.
