PT crashes after last update

Postby kearney » Tue Apr 03, 2012 6:23 am

I installed the recent beta yesterday, PT3 ran smoothly all night long - today problems started by 1. HUD not working, 2. found files to monitor but did not import, 3. PT3 stops/crashes when autoimport is stopped

I installed the older version of PT3 again, but problems remain - happy days.

Any ideas how I can fix those issues?

Please start by upgrading back to the most recent beta - downgrades can sometimes cause problems.

Then please restart PT3 with the Logging Enabled link on your Start menu, reproduce and report this problem so that we can investigate for you further.

It seems that Pokertracker does not (re)move the hand history files to the oldhands folder, if I delete them manually after the import everything runs smooth again.

This will have to work for me, dont have the time or patience to mess aroung with log files etc.

Then please make certain you have the "Move Processed Files" box checked on the Auto Import -> Preferences tab. That is the setting which tells PT3 where to move the files to after auto import is stopped. If that box is unchecked, the files are not moved.

The box is checked, I am running this setup for almost two years now and have never changed any of the settings.

In that case please report your problem as kraada suggested above, so that we can check your logs and see what is going on.
