2 computers 1 DB

Postby tclark828 » Fri May 09, 2008 11:26 pm

Is there a way to get my database on my laptop onto my desktop as well? If there is an article or something about it, that would be awesome... i'm really computer stupid. i copied my entire PT3 folder to a disc and copied the disk onto my PC, but it only has like 1500 hands out of over 200k... any help is great

thanks

Right now there is no easy way to do this. We plan on adding an import/export very soon.

I could provide you with instructions on how to do this but it would be rather complicated and since you are not very computer literate, I suggest just waiting until we get the import/export complete soon.

Best regards,

Derek

Hi Derek,

I'm very interesting in it. I have 2 computers (laptop & desktop) which are connected in an Intranet. I believe that PT3 on the computer A can definitely connect the PostgresSQL DB on the computer B. (I think computer B should start service als a server firstly). But I haven't succeeded. Could you please provide me more information about that? It would be easier for DB synchronization than impo0rt/export every time I began to play on the other computer.

I appreciate your help.

Best regards
