New Tourney Statistics in Kraada's Advanced HUD

Postby t3hnu7z » Sat Apr 04, 2009 10:25 pm

There were 3 statistics that were a part of the original Advanced HUD for Tourneys that I would like to use but I can't find anywhere:

1) Push All-In PF
2) Call PF All-In
3) Call Off Stack

If anyone had imported these statistics, I'd love to get a copy of them. I thought they would be in the new Layouts.zip, but I couldn't find them. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Those stats are still there; they're in the by M popup. Click on the hands/notes group on the table and you'll see those stats for each player by M.

I don't think I ever built them for general (that is, not by M) use, but it should be fairly easy to do, if you want to. Just duplicate each of the two columns for each stat and remove the section that references the player's stack (that is, that picks out the time they have the M in question), and the remaining code should pick out the instances for all hands.

So in short: if you import the .pt3hud you'll get these stats too, just for differing M zones rather than for all play.

Ok, I think I understand. I was looking through the importable statistics to find them, but they're in the .pt3hud file is what you're saying.

When I import that am I going to mess up my layout or other statistics? Currently, I'm using a naming protocol like this:

VP$IP - Green, VP$IP - Yellow, etc. denoting the particular M zone that statistic applies to...

You need to be using Beta 26 to import Kraada's profile.
When you import the profile you do not have to use it, it will just be added as another profile option, but the stats will be installed and you can use those wherever you like.

Ok, I've imported the profile.

I noticed that importing the profile imported MANY statistics at the same time, so NOW my question is this: Why are there statistics files in the .zip if they can be included in a profile file?

*tries to sort this all out*

Those specific statistics aren't imported along with the .pt3hud.

Any stat explicitly used in the HUD is imported with the .pt3hud, but there are a few which are implicitly used but not explicitly. Namely, those stats which are used for the color conditions on the stats that display on the table. Those stats need to be imported manually, as they don't come with the .pt3hud. Thankfully, there aren't very many of them; if you had to import all of the Tourney HUD's statistics I think it would come to over 100 stats :)

So you do still need to import those few stats, but the process was significantly streamlined by the .pt3hud file. I hope that clears things up for you?

Oh ok, I think got it. Any statistics listed in the HUD will be saved with an export of that HUD, but if any of those statistics reference other statistics not already listed in the HUD, those "other statistics" will need to be exported (then imported) separately. I'm assuming, btw, that exporting statistics ALSO exports the associated columns with it. Is that true?

That does save a lot of time since, as you mentioned, the use of the zones creates a multitude of statistics. I can't wait to get this up and running, though, very excited!
