My Poker Ace is Working Fine!

No problems, but figured I'd finally ask about a few things I'm not sure about...

In preferences/general, I have 'enable logging' unchecked. What is enable logging and what difference would it make if this were checked?

In preferences/Poker Stars, I have Poker Ace set for 'use the hand history files (uses fewer resources). I've got a pretty good computer now, so I don't think I need to worry about using up resources. Should I be using the memory scanner? What's the difference?

Enabling logging would simply generate a log file which we use to troubleshoot issues. If there are no issues then there is no need to enable logging.

Yes, I highly recommend using the memory scanner. It doesn't use that much resources anyways. The memory scanner allows you to display previously played stats on observed tables. (No new stats will be displayed on observed tables since datamining observed hands is against PokerStars terms)

I enabled the memory scanner, but now 'some' of the stats are not aligned properly with the players. I say 'some', because it's only happening on some tables. I had this problem once before, but I forgot how I solved it. Would you know offhand?

Btw- I also enabled flicker free drawing. I'm not sure that has anything to do with the stats being out of place. Thanks.

Are you using preferred seating? If you are, what version of PokerAce Hud are you using?

Yes, I am using preferred seating and it IS check on my PokerAce software. The stats aligned fine before I checked scan memory. I haven't had a chance to play with it unchecked yet (I will tomorrow).

I don't have access to my usual computer right now, but you just had me re-download the software yesterday to fix another problem. So it should be the most recent version you have.

Download and install the latest beta version which is required for preferred seating to work correctly. (I am going to guess that you downloaded 1.18 when you reinstalled)

Thanks for following up Derek. I have v1.19.5 beta. I played this morning and it worked fine. I know you'll think I'm nuts, but I swear it was screwy yesterday!
