Aranging stats

Postby Nagelring » Thu May 08, 2008 9:33 pm

Hello PT-Team,

i use PT2/HUD an have a special arrangement for the stats around the field with the player name on the table.
I need at least 14 stats for each player displayed. The layout manager was an easy way to place the stats in a clear way.

Now i tried to arrange the stats with pt3 in the same clear way adding some new stats like 3Bet and couldnt find a
satisfactional solution. The black field with the stats takes too much space on the window with the pokertable away.

Are you planning to improve the arranging of the stats like in the user-friendly PT2/HUD layoutmanager?

I am not sure that I understand your problem....you can create a group for each individual stat in PT3 if you like singular stats.

Yes, we plan on eventually adding a Layout Manager into PT3 much like PAH. :)

Okay, now i noticed the possibility to create several groups for the stats and configured 8 Groups for 15 stats.
Then i tried playing on Party 6 Tables using this configured stats with the result of slowing down the whole system.
Is this solution with more groups eating too many ressources?
I have a Quad Core 2,4 GHz with 3 GB RAM by the way....

Adding groups should not have any noticeable impact on performance (especially for your computer). Are you saying that it ran fine prior to adding the groups and now it is not? Or did you not try without the groupings?

There are some performance issues which we are trying to resolve for a future release. We plan on adding a cache into PT3 much like there is for PAH to keep performance boosted.

Hello Derek,

i reduced the number of groups to 4 and tried playing several tables on Party, Stars and Full Tilt.
After starting PT3 HUD the system become on each server very slow.

Hope your cache adding helps to run PT3 so stable like my Pt2 + HUD, where i have absolutly no problems multitabling with acess-db's

Yes, the cache will help significantly and should make it even faster than PokerAce Hud. :)
