Transfering hhdb.mdb & Ptrack.mdb files

I'm merging files from 2 systems and this is the first time of done it with pre-existing data already in the hhdb and ptrack mdb files on both systems. When I attempted to move the files into the pokertracker file, it prompted me to replace the pre-existing hhdb and ptrack files or rename the files with (2). As I was worried that the data would be lost in the pre-existing file, I renamed them. This did nothing as far as data merging goes, so should I replace the file? Will they merge data? Thanks Pat for any assistance.

There is no way to merge files. If you want to combine your data then you need to do it as detailed here
