I am getting the error message "File contains no Texas Hold'em hands or unable to determine what poker site this file came from." I am running poker track 2 on Windows Vista. How can I fix this problem?

Thank you

Does the version number say 2.17.04b (or a) in the title bar?
Also, as I stated in the post with the patch file, you need to be using the Full-Tilt auto-import window to import these files and not some other window.

Once i click the, Auto-Import Full Tilt Poker Hand Histories icon and click on the Start Timer or Force Import, it runs like normal, only it never finds any hands to import. It did not find the hands i played yesterday, OR while i was playing today.

Also, i did not try to use Poker Tracker at all yesterday, i played without it, and no import was attempted until after i downloaded both patches from this thread.

Thank you.

If it's not finding any files then you either don't have FT configured to save the files or you are pointing PT to the wrong folder. Click the help link at the top right corner of the window and follow the directions it give there for getting this setup.

Pat,

Thanks very much, I have now successfully imported hands from yesterday and today. You were right when you said I must have run as administrator... I did so for a while whilst playing iPoker site.

I have been back on Full Tilt for a couple of months without needing to run either program as admin..... obv. now I will have to, no big deal.

Love the support you provide,

Thanks,

Ken

Well it worked until yesterday and everything was pointed at the right folders then. I also RE pointed it at the right folder. When it first scanned, it said it found the files, and then said no new hands...which is untrue because there are SEVERAL new hands.

What does the version number say in the title bar of the main PT window?

I aint doing nothing until there is a correct patch out there :) but yes this problem started happening to me yesterday. Poker Tracker tries to import the files but then states 0 files imported.. wee tad annoying if you ask me. Perhaps i will try your miracle patch :)

pat

i am also having the same problems with it saying 0 new hands found

what i did was copy the missing hands into a folder on my desktop, redirect the autoimport full tilt button to that folder, and then press it, and it says "14 new files found, 0 new hands"

here is an image of my pokertracker, with sessions.

the hands were all played on the 9th july, and the session tab doesn't have any hands since the 8th (ie after the update)

2 things that might be useful;

1) they are exclusively pot limit omaha
2) my pokertracker uses an alias for all my different sn's

This is the Hold'em forum. You need to go to the Omaha forum and install the Omaha patch and post any issues with that patch there...

Fixed the hand loading issue.
The patches had not loaded into the right folder.

Thank you for your time.
