PokerStars - PT import hands error

Postby cosmoba » Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:46 pm

Hi,

Today PokerStars decided to release a new update, which returned all of the setting to default. Of course I didn't realize my hands histories were not automatically being download to my computer until I was a good 100 hands in. Once I figured this out, I requested my hand history and got the email.

I then copied the hand history and saved it to a text file in my HandHistory folder where PT auto-loads from. Usually I don't have a problem doing this, but today I got the following error.

[codevjj]Error getting the table name for tournament game #.[/codevjj]

It is not the biggest problem as PT is now downloading and auto importing without a problem.

Thanks in advance.

This looks like a linewrapping problem.

You are going to have to save the text to a file again and make sure to turn off linewrapping. If you are using Notepad, go to the Format menu and UNCHECK the WordWrap option then save the new file.

It's possible the lines were wrapped then when you got the email. Post the text from this file for one of the hands that gives an error.

It looks like all the first lines are wrapping, they should look like this, all on their own lines:
