Hi there,

whenever I open PT up and try to import Full Tilt hand hists I get a message window popping up, It basically says something along the lines of "Please note that you have 102 hand history files in your hand history folder. This indicates that you have not been moving/deleting files........... etc"

It asks me to uste the "move processed files option of this window", but thats what I always do? and the box is checked?

Every time I open the window the amount of files to move varies too.

If I open PT and want to look at my ring game statistics it appears a lot of hists are missing, or sessions arnt even there?

Any help most appreciated.

What version of PT2?
Are you playing tournaments?
Are you playing other types of games than Hold'em?
Are you using Vista?

Downloaded the patch, but the problem still persists.

Its telling me I have 106 hand history files in your hand history folder. This indicates that you have not been moving/deleting or allowing Poker Tracker to move htese files (using the "move processed files..." option of this window) when you close this window. It could also just mean that this is the first time you have used the auto-import functionality.

In either case, this many hand history files could cause the import to be somewhat slow and appear to be "frozen" at times while it is processing. It is strongly recommended that you use the "move processed files..." option to keep this window running as fast as possible.

As i said, the "move processed files......" option is checked, and as im aware nothing has changed??

Close the window and reopen it.
Click the Enable Logging box.
Hit the Force Import button.

After it processes, click the View Log link and copy/paste the text of the log file into a reply.

Ok...................

I did as you said, but as soon as I do that now I get the egg timer and have to use ctrl + alt+ delete to regain control as it isnt responding.

One thing of note is, I tried it again, and the number of files had reduced from 106 to 63.

Then all of a sudden I got message telling me to compact the databases, and I must admit I got this message a few times a couple of weeks back.

Anyway, it seems to be working now??????? as Im not getting the message anymore, when I click force import it says - "no hand hist files have been created/updated since last report"

but when I check my database, hnd hists are missing from last few days, some hists from the 19th but not as many as there should be???

Very strange.

Do you think this has solved the problem for good?

The compact database message has nothing to do with this issue.

You should not have killed the program because it was running trying to process all those files. If it actually was importing any hands at the time then you must not have run the import for a while or it would have already imported those hands but not just have moved the files to the processed folder as you said it wasn't doing.

I would move those files back to the hand history folder and run the import again. Let it run until it tells you it's done so that you can be sure all the files have been processed.
