Import and missing data problem

Postby tapped_out » Sat Mar 22, 2008 12:30 am

I recently reinstalled PT'er and used the two old data files to overwrite the new download files and restore my database. Everything seemed fine until today(although I didn't try to import anything since reinstalling) but all my data and stats were present and now it's all gone and pokertracker does not work at all :?

Here are the screen shots of the errors:

This is when I first open PT'er.

This is the first error that pops up when trying to import

Second error while importing

When trying to open the error file

Some on the images you posted show two instances of PT running at the same time. Were you doing imports on both instances? If so, that will cause these errors and you should avoid doing that.

Try using the Utilities > Repair A Poker Database option to fix the file. If that doesn't work, do you have any backups of the database?

I only had one instance of PT running.

I repaired it successfully and the import works fine and the data has been restored, but the limts I've played are all bunched into one level. There could be other bugs but that's what I notice right away.

Here is a SS of what the prefereces tab looks like. As you can see, a few of the levels are marked ################# and even a few of the ones that are checked(200nl) don't show up on the general tab.

I have the data files saved on an external HD so I can try overwriting again if you think that might help.

Thanks

You can delete these bad levels using the steps listed here
archives/PT2/viewtopic.php?t=18559&highlight=f12

If any of them won't delete because it tells you there are hands associated with them, you would have to purge those sessions using the first tab on the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window first and then reimport those hands after you get these bad levels deleted.
