Installed patch g... Full Tilt import just hangs

I installed the latest patch (g) and now the import says "Starting import, finding 1 files found" but then hangs.
It doesn't appear to be using any cpu cycles, which may indicate a hand during I/O? I am pointing PT2 at
the directory with the unicode files... is there anything else I need to do?

Are you using native Windows or are you running PT2 on a Mac through an emulator? If you are using Windows, is it Vista?

I am running XP Service pack 3. Also I just installed patch 'g' to a non-default directory and it complains about a missing .dll file,
PBVM70. I was hoping to keep the older version while trying to debug the new one. I am still using the workaround on the older version.

You can't run just the patch like that. I don't know what the issue would be. Are you able to use the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window, Select Files To Import button to select one of the files to import?

These are ring games. I don't use PT for tournaments.

If that doesn't work either, you'll have to go back to the previous version...

I tried the "Import Hand Histories..." as suggested. I selected a file (the file currently being written to by FTP) and clicked "ok".
The browse dialog box went away but I got no feedback as to whether the file was imported. I checked the ring game statistics and it wasn't there.

Oh, wait a minute, I see some writing on the box..."Importing file... " etc. But the status is blank. Looks like it is having the same problem... hanging.
