What version of PT2??
What operating system??
Are you letting PT change the regional settings to English at startup? You need to be.

Ok. Tthanks. Problem solved. :-)
Since PT crashed before because of an insufficient memory error PT did not ask to change the regional setting any more. Resetting my original regional settings solved the problem.
