Database errors when importing

Postby ShipitFMA » Sat May 03, 2008 1:26 am

Hey there, I've been receiving the following errors when importing bodog HH's into PT2

A database error has occured.

DBCode: -3702 Error Text: SQLSTATE = S1000
[Microsoft][ODBC MIcrosoft Access Driver] Field 'hand_histories.hand_history' cannot be a zero-length string.

No changes made to database.

INSERT INTO hand_histories (game_number, site_id, hand_history, import_date) VALUES (12153444, 17, ", {ts '2008-05-03 15:15:33'} )

And everytime the message comes up it changes slightly, but this is just a general idea what of what is going wrong

Thanks alot for the help

What version of PT are you using?
What site are you importing hands from? Bodog?

How can I find out which exact hands are causing this problem? It does it a bunch of times during each session.

On a related note, when is PT3 going to be compatible with bodog?

Open the File > Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries window.
Click on the Select Files To Import button.
Navigate to the folder where the files are being saved and select one to import. Do this until you get to one of them that causes the error.

I don't know when PT3 will support Bodog, you would have to ask Josh/Derek in the PT3 forums.
