Can I still purge sessions?

Hi. I'm trying to get rid of all the sessions from FTP and a few other sites out of my database. I did not read the guide first and realize that I am a moron.

What I HAVE done is clicked "advanced purge" and gotten rid of all the players from the sites that I'm trying to purge. Now I've gone thru the guide and realized how I'm supposed to do the purge. I tried doing a regular purge and I get the error message " 1612 SQLstate=S1000...the record cannot be deleted or changed because table 'game players' includes related records. "

Am I screwed and unable to purge the sessions I'd like to purge?

The Advanced Purge window when you first open it ask you to create a backup of your database first before using it. Did you do this?

Yes it did...I really shoulda thought of that. What is the file name of the backup?

With PT closed, go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder. Do you see a file called ptrack_backup.mdb there? If so, rename the file called ptrack.mdb to ptrack_old.mdb and then rename that backup file to ptrack.mdb and then try it again.

Hi again. I guess I've since overwritten that backup. Basically, I have no backups that I haven't deleted the player records for FTP for. Is it still possible to purge the FTP sessions? The only way I can think is to export every other file to text file except the FTP's and make a new database. the only problem is that'll probably take me a year or two. any other ideas?

Go to the File > Maintain Database Names window. Double-click on the name of the db that you are getting these errors with. What is the file name and size that shows in the window that opens?

1,299,452 kb is the size of the database I'm getting the errors with.
