I have a big DB (about 1million hands) while multitabling 5+tables on pokerstars everything extremely slows down. The cpu usage is about 40 percent until i stop "getiing hands while playing".
I have: win 7 pro 64bit , cpu 2.1 dual core 4gb ram.

What kind of hard drive do you have and does your HUD use custom statistics?

5400 RPM drives are not going to work well for your purposes - the speed of the disk is slow enough that what you're likely seeing is all of the work that's being done just to get the data for you to display
