Question about automatic maintenance

The automatic maintenance always starting after an import finished, the only problem is that the maintenance always starts even when all the imported hands are duplicates. I think that's a time-robber situation doesn't it? I think it would be more useful if the maintenance only starts when the imported hands are NOT duplicates. Sorry if I'm wrong, just it looks like this situation doesn't make sense.

Cache updating should only happen when hands are imported - is there a reason why you are normally importing hand history files containing duplicates?

Sometimes I'm reimporting some handhistories when I'm not sure they are already imported or not. And there were some cases when I re-imported 10-20k tourney hands, and when import finished, only the duplicate counter has changed from 0, but still, the auto maintenance has started.

What site(s) do you play at? It seems this may only affect certain sites and that information would help us narrow this down.
