four request and suggestion

Postby amanojaku » Sun Jun 17, 2012 2:30 pm

1. I know PT4 could filter based on a table. However unlike in PT3, PT4 cannot filter on multiple table and the filter doesn't show on the graph tab. I wish in the future PT4 could do this. Because I want to be able to review my all-in graph on a table basis. Or maybe you could all-in equity on result tab graph.

2. A stats on a hud that cover all table. Like all-in $, bb/100 etc. It will be good feature when multitabling.

3. Have you consider including 'highlight feature' on your note/autonote? I think it'd be a good idea if you add this simple feature.

4. One last thing, I wish pt4 could also copy stats that we could choose/customized for forum hand reviewing.

PS: I think PT4 is better than HM2, nice works ;) And it's a good decision to put big bets stats behind, it's one of the thing I don't like PT3.

(1) If you look at the All-In Equity Adjusted report on the Results tab you can see the graph by session including your gold line in the bottom pane. You can also hold ctrl (or shift) to select multiple sessions and this should get you exactly what you are looking for.

(2) You can create a new group that shows Table Averages right now and add any of these stats to it and they should display properly.

(3) Could you elaborate a little more what you mean by this feature?

(4) This is something we plan to look into.

(3) I mean it's sort of like simple syntax highlighting that would color certain keywords (preferably) on the HUD. Such as 3bet, steal, etc. This way it'd be a lot easier finding certain notes/notetracker during play.

Currently we don't have any advanced formatting like that, but it's definitely something that I'd like to see us get added eventually.

I don't think this is what I'm looking for. I never really understood about the table average stats. I always thought that it's the accumulated stats of all the player on one table divided by the number of players on that table. But I don't think this is the right formula. Could you explain to me a little bit? If you don't mind?

Anyway the stats I was talking about is a stats where it is accumulated by the stats from all tables in a session. For example, if I play two tables during a session, and on one table I won 1 BI and on the other table I won 2 BI. The BB won stats that I want would be showing 300 (3 BI) on all tables. I wonder if this is possibles.

Yes that is how it works - if you put up VPIP you'll see the average VPIP from the table for all of the opponents there. It is a straight average and doesn't take into account how many hands each player has played.

From your further description it sounds like you want to look at the View Active tables report in the PT4 Play Poker page. That will stay up to date and show you how much you've won on each table and it should have a summary row totalling it up for you.

Yup, This is what I'm looking for. Although it's not exactly what I want, since it's based on active table and not based on session so I assumed if I close a table, it will be remove from the list.

Anyway about the active table, I have some suggestion instead:

(1) Why not make closed table grayed out instead of removing them from the list.

(2) Add a summary at the bottom of the list.

(3) Make the stats customizable or at least include adjusted value instead of real value, since seeing adjusted value won't make you tilting as much.

PS: Just notice if we use alias, we cannot choose the player under an alias anymore. In order to select that player we have to filter them through sites right? So why not add the filter site on the side tab? I think it's a more logical option to put one there.

I'll pass on your suggestions - thanks.

Correct.

For most players this isn't needed, and this is just a limited set of general filters.
You can filter by site in the More Filters window and you can set up filters which you use regularly as Quick Filters in that window too, and then you can access them in the sidebar from the Quick Filter dropdown.
