# of hands since you saw Mr. Smith in the hand

How about a HUD stat which shows how many hands ago you last saw a player actively play a hand?

Not sure if this one's already doable, but thought I'd throw it out there.

That isn't currently doable at this point in time. You could do # of hand since Villain won a hand, though after 10 it would max out given the way we store data in the Live table at the moment. Would that work for you?

No, I don't think that would really do what I'm looking for. To be fair, "# of hands since you last saw villain in a hand" isn't that crucial; I just thought it might be a good idea for multitablers in particular, or people who are otherwise having trouble keeping track of when they last saw activity from a particular opponent. Of lesser importance, it might be an extra pointer to help measure how "rock-ish" someone is playing.

Also I thought it might be a useful measure of whether someone alters their playstyle to FR/shorthanded/HU, if one kept an eye on the number for a particular player and saw whether it differed when the # of players did.

But if it's not possible at the mo, no biggie :) Maybe it will be one day.

You can see stats based on the number of players involved, so that you see stats from previous hands played with a similar number of players.
For example if you set up ranges of 7-10, 4-6 and 2-3 you will only see stats from hands played with between 7 and 10 players whenever you're currently playing with a number of players in that range. If the table drops to 6-handed then you will see stats from hands played with between 4 and 6 players.
To set this up go to Hud > Edit Hud Options and add ranges to 'Number of players filtered'.
