Shortening Live Winner player name in table average HUD

I'm wondering if it's possible to shorten the "Live Winner" player name as it appears in a table average HUD.

I know that in most HUDs, you can add a "Player Name Short" which uses an abbreviated version of the name. But it doesn't seem like there's this option for table averages. It doesn't matter that much for most sites, but on Ignition, the hand grabber add-on I use renames the opponents with a very long 40ish character screen name, and that pretty much breaks the HUD's size. Is there a workaround to this? Perhaps I could make a custom stat somehow? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Create custom statistics by duplicating the existing 'Live Winner' statistics and use the same format type as the 'Player Name Short' statistic:
